Established on January 29th, 2022, ft86socal emerged as a small driving group within the Southern California automotive scene. What started out as friends just going on early morning (think 6am or earlier) drives turned to monthly events that car enthusiasts flocked to.

Now here we are with 80+ drivers joining us once a month for a drive. Over 6,000 cars have driven with us since we’ve started. Extending beyond a car club, we stand as a community coming together by a shared passion for driving and living icon of the BRZ/GR86/FR-S/86 platform.

ft86socal was founded with the visionary goal of creating a space where enthusiasts of these niche vehicles could come together, forge new connections, and go on memorable drives throughout the scenic canyon landscapes of Southern California.

The community blossomed from a common love of the fun driving experience that the BRZ/GR86/FR-S/86 has to offer. In a short span since its inception, ft86socal has rapidly grown into a lively gathering for like-minded individuals who appreciate the art of driving aka driving enthusiasts. 

The community has organically become a source of inspiration, support, and camaraderie for Southern California's BRZ/GR86/FR-S/86 enthusiasts. ft86socal's calendar is adorned with spirited drives, meet-ups, and events, each meticulously curated to celebrate smiles per gallon and foster genuine connections among its drivers. From coastal cruises to mountain runs, every event is an opportunity for each driver to share their love for these cars.
